Phonics Launch is a 4-day literacy curriculum that provides carefully sequenced, high-impact instruction in phonics. High-quality, beautifully illustrated decodable storybooks facilitate practice in phonics skills while introducing readers to engaging stories that promote a love of reading. Systematic and explicit phonological awareness and phonics activities follow a carefully developed scope and sequence to ensure students have a strong foundation of basic and complex sound−letter links. Students are given daily opportunities to transfer foundational skills to reading and writing, which reinforces the learning. The curriculum is flexible and features short 10-minute mini-lessons that can be standalone or supplementary and can be taught in a small-group or whole-group setting.
