Build students’ understanding of how words work with this hands-on affix box set. Featuring sturdy laminated affix cards and clear instructional steps, this resource supports explicit teaching of prefixes and suffixes and helps students analyze how affixes change a word’s meaning and, in some cases, its grammatical role. Designed to complement any core literacy program, the cards make it easy to incorporate morphology instruction into word study as students build, analyze, and connect words—strengthening vocabulary, word recognition, spelling, and comprehension.
Cards are conveniently stored in a hinged box with a magnetic closure.
